APPLE TREE FARM – CGI IMAGERY FOR A CONTEMPORARY FARMHOUSE DEVELOPMENT
THE BRIEF
Ekin Building Services is a family-run property developer who chose The Pixel Workshop for their flagship Apple Tree Farm project, a collection of modern farmhouses designed to blend contemporary living with rustic charm.
The client required a suite of high-impact CGI stills—both exterior and interior—to feature in marketing brochures, website hero banners, and property listings. Objectives included:
- Emphasizing reclaimed brick façades that integrate new builds into the rural landscape
- Highlighting key living spaces, with attention to patio views and kitchen layouts
- Demonstrating the range of finishes and customisation options available to buyers
- Delivering aspirational lifestyle imagery for use on Rightmove and direct-to-customer channels
THE CHALLENGE
Producing authentic, modern farmhouse imagery involved several challenges:
- Custom Brick Textures
Reclaimed bricks have unique colour variations and weathering patterns that stock textures couldn’t capture. To resolve this, we used photographs of on-site reclaimed bricks to generate bespoke textures, ensuring authenticity. - Interior Styling Unity
We needed palettes that felt cohesive across three distinct kitchen designs while reflecting the farmhouse aesthetic. - Unit One: This sage-green shaker kitchen creates a seamless connection between the interior and the surrounding landscape.
- Unit Two: Here a bold blue shaker kitchen highlighted the developer’s custom finish options.
- Unit Four: The grey-charcoal kitchen–diner combined contemporary styling with warm, earthy tones.
